Hello i was just wondering if anyone could help me settle and argument that i have been having with my sister in law. she is looking to apply for bankrupcy in the next month, she is a student with a fair bit of debt and not a chance of paying it back. She does have a £3500 sports car, she says that she will be able to keep the car if she goes bankrupt as she needs the car to get to lessons (as she has a bad ankle) i said that i wouldnt think that thier would be anyway of her keeping the car and she would have to sell it or something!
Can anyone settle the argument?
P>S (we are in scotland if that make any diffrence with scottish law)

Yup!! what Addo said.
Seems from anecdotes on the board that £1000 seems to be the upper limit. Obviously there are always exceptions to the rule but I think she is living in la-la land if she thinks she will get to keep her car.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
