buying quality pillows

Hi all,

I really need to get some decent quality pillows becuase Im (literally!) tired of waking up with crinks in my neck.

Shoudl I go to a proper bed shop to do this? Pillows are very expensive and seem to be a lot cheaper in TK MAXX. But am I comparing like for like? What should I be looking out for on the packaging?

Thanks

    Hi,
Have a look at the Duvet and Pillow Warehouse - their products are fantastic and good value! Also through topcashback. Highly recommend.

I have used and purchased many types of pillows over the years, from cheapie supermarket ones to £150 - each Hungarian goose down!
For the past year or two, I've been using these :
    http://www.finebedding.co.uk/product/spundown-pillow/

They suit me just fine; as soft as a fine goose down pillow (if you choose the Medium support) and wash at up to 60 degrees. They dry quickly after washing and keep their shape - in fact I rate them so highly, I bought more for all our beds and the duvets too. :o

No, I am NOT employed by Spundown. :p
I converted to these from Sheridan Hungarian goose down - pillows and duvets - which just shows how good I think Spundown is.

There's lots of reviews online if you want to, like I did.

Great - thanks for that. Ill check out the link.
  • The best pillows I've tried are made from Latex, they are weird to begin with but once you do you, you'll start traveling with them as I do! Top Tip: Always take your pillows on overnight stays you'll sleep so much better.
