Payday loan Help
A payday loan has contacted a previous employer of mine, that I worked for 3 months ago.
This is all rather frustrating because, the application I filled in THREE MONTHS AGO, I quit halfway through, and chose to ask family members for help instead, but the loan company still contacted my employer.
Whilst at work today, I received a voice message off my previous employer, not sounding too happy, as they are still contacting her despite myself not even continuing with my application and contacting the loan company of their mistake.
I'm just worried what this could mean? Could my employer take any further action?
Thanks

So you never borrowed from them and they are just chasing up the business by cold calling the work number you had entered at the time? Don't see what further action could be taken apart from telling PDL company to stop cold calling.0

No your employer cannot take any action against you. You have done nothing wrong and are not responsible for phone calls the payday loan company is making.
It is odd though that they are calling, I would be more concerned about that if you have no outstanding payday loans.
Have they payday loan company also tried to contact you? Have they said what it is regarding?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Hi, thanks for replying.
The payday loan said it's regarding an application I have filled out but haven't completed. And are seeing if I'm still interested as I "they could deposit the money in my account today."
