Spam folders - and missing wems

I thought I was pretty good at periodically checking my spam folders within my email client (Live Mail) I never thought to login to the various email accounts I have, and check them for wrongly filtered emails and possible wem's.

Well when I finally did login to my main comping email account with Virgins media, I was amazed to see nearly 300 emails in the spam folder, one was a wem for a Pashly bike!

Now I don't like leaving it to Mr Branson's Virgins to decide if my mail is legit or spam, I'd rather decide my self, so I thought, I'll just turn the spam filter off,

you can't do that!

So I went on to Virgins help forum and found this work-around, which really dose work now all my emails reach my Live mail client.

You have to set up a filter

Log into your mailbox, go to "Settings", then go to the "Filters" tab, Click on "Create a new filter", put the phrase "is:spam" into the "Include the words:" box, click on next, accept the warning, then put a tick in "never send it to spam", then click on the "create filter" button

This might work with other ISP's too, but I don't know fsure.

I've just had a WEM asking me for my details again & it went to my inbox but I missed it on Monday :eek:

Going to have to be more careful checking all emails now
