    not really - its a totally different texture. I usually cut them up and use in curry or pasta sauce
  • Just searched recipes for pork loin steaks and there's a lot of options, not just grilling, so think I'll be getting some too. Thanks for the info.

    Yes, pork loin is the bit of meat that runs along the back under the ribs - the joint is it whole the steaks sliced. However I think the recent loins at lidl have been cured (like bacon/ ham) so have a different taste/ texture
