    Used half to make a curry and other half to make pumpkin pie, which is in the oven at the moment.

    Pumpkin soup as already suggested. Also, if you are careful cutting out the pumpkin flesh, you can roast chunks in the oven in the same way as you roast potatoes, they go lovely with a roast dinner.
