If you sort your competitions by title (rather than doing a search) you might be missing out.
At the moment the are 22 competitions listed not using the standard format of
E: 31/01 Win Something Amazing
I know quite a few people have already asked the OPs to change the titles but (I think!) if they don't have notifications set up to tell them someone has replied they won't necessarily know unless they look at their post again. Is that correct?
What happens in this case? Are Board Guides allowed to go into a post and change them or can the title only be changed by the OP?
I understand that it's not a huge number but in the last week it's risen fourfold (ish).
I'd like to add I am very grateful to everyone who posts comps, if I ever find any, 9.9 times out of 10 they're already on here so I hardly ever get to post one.
I'm not having a go as such, just wanting to help keep everything in order.

Board guides are able to change them. I sometimes send a PM to the poster if I spot what they have done and politely ask them to change it.0

Usually moved to game over if the poster does not edit the title.
The spike in wrong ones maybe due to comps being featured in the weekly e-mail again.0 -
To be honest I always think the existing format is wrong.
Instead of E: dd/mm titles should really start E: yy/mm/dd that way when you order the threads they actually order correctly E: 14/01/01 then E: 14/01/02, rather than getting E: 01/01 followed by E: 01/02 etc.0 -
why is it wrong though we know if its says 14/02 they mean next year it cant be this year! What goes around-comes around0

I mean wrong in terms of when you try to order the forum by thread title. If they were entered as yy/mm/dd then things would order correctly.0 -
Depends upon spaces left also between E: and the 00/00 - best thing end date compers can do is to scroll down (normally no more than 1 page) when they first sort by 'end date'The shinbone is a device for finding furniture in a dark room.:TBig thanks to all competition posters:T0
