Ebay and cash converters. Also charity shops often have them but it's usually only the crappy football ones but sometimes you get some good ones pop up.

It depends on their rarity. Charity shops and the like don't know the rarity of certain ps2 games though. Which is good for collectors.

I find they overcharge even for the not so common ones.

I've brought few from eBay and Amazon quite reasonably priced, except for rare mint condition ones which you expect to pay more for. If you're after very rare games like I think one or two if the metal gear solid games expect to pay quite a bit more.

your also forgetting the postage ontop....

OP Do you know what you are looking for? or are you just asking in general?
    - I am only asking as my collection is fairly large (and most in really good condition) and id be happy to help out a fellow MSE member by digging out what you are after, shoving it on ebay and giving you first refusal.

MODS - I am NOT trying to advertise / sell here! its just a thought that entered my head! if i have something that someone is after i just like to help out - if this is a problem (as i suspect it is a gray area) let me know and I will immediately remove this comment.
