Small Christmas Gift Ideas

Options
I have been asked my someone who works in a school if i can make anything that she can sell in the school shop. So because its the children that would be buying obviously she cannot charge a lot so i was wondering what small things i could make for mums and dads that the children could buy (for not much money)

I have lots of material, ribbon and general crafty bits and i dont mind buying otherthings if needed.

I thought i could do some snowman soup (for the dads) and maybe some kind of felt or material christmas ornament for the tree but what else can i make that wont take long to make and that can be suitable for children to buy.

Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.

  • Things like snowman soup etc are nice to make and give as gifts but I'd keep away from making 'food' products to sell because there are requirements to register as a food business etc which will be a bit much if you're just doing some bits for the school shop over Christmas.

Some hand-made tree ornaments would be good. You could probably make up little coin purses, mobile phone socks or even cloth shopping bags cheaply and quickly.

On the Christmas thread (holly and ivy) there are some 'mistle toes' .. little packet with foot bits in which are cute. Easy enough to do a hand set.. multipack of emery boards and nail polishes and such like should be quick ad easy to make up.

I'm sure I could come up with lots but I have to feed small people.
