As you are back at parents see how tightly you can cut spending over the next month or two.. stop all payments to the ex, and get back on track for after Christmas..0

Is that £1,000+ each, to three different companies (ie. £3,000+ in total), or £1,000+, split between the three companies?0 -
If I could, I would. But I need £200 to myself next month, cover travel to work and a monthly finance payment. And I owe £972 to payday loans. So £1172, and Ill bring in about £1000. So not sure what I should do. I dont/cant tell parents, hence why Ive came here.
Okay, that kinda sucks. Hope it doesnt affect me moving out. Hopefully if the landlord got the rent/month in advance money and such and saw I wasn't in a bad place now, they'd be forgivving of my past lol.
Thanks again everyone, really been a great help;0 -
Can you ask your parents to lend you the £200, then pay off the loan and next month you can pay your parents back?
ETA Sorry just saw you say you cant tell parents - swallow your pride, it will be a whole lot less painful than a trashed credit historyDon't Panic - and carry a towel

You're £172 short and your considering ruining your future (moving out) over it??? Not paying your debts will affect you moving out. You must have something you can sell worth that.
How much is travel to work? Is that public transport/car share/own car? Could you walk/cycle at least part of the way to make it cheaper?0 -
Any chance the finance company would give you a one month payment holiday?
It would extend the finance period by one month, and attract a bit of extra interest and/or charges, but if it avoids further damaging your credit rating, by defaulting on the PDLs, then I'd say it would be worth it.
Or, have you any holidays you could take, thereby reducing the money you need for travel?
How much could you save, if you did absolutely nothing for a month, except work, eat (own brand instant noodles) and sleep?0 -
Tell your parents.
Them bailing you out to the tune of £200 is rather better than trashing your credit record for the next 6 years, which they'll undoubtedly find out about one way or another once lack of payment gets you into an even deeper hole (such as when bailiffs come knocking on their front door) .0 -
I would pay off your Payday loans as soon as possible (3 months perhaps) as they are charging you massive interest, then try and get back on track without these loans hanging around your neck.Good luck.0

Why dont you pay the payday loan and then take out another payday loan for the 200 you need till next payday?
Not ideal but at least you dont default on a loan and next month you should be able to clear it.0 -
I'm sure if you explained to your parents they would lend you £172. It is worth swallowing your pride and having the conversation rather than defaulting on a pay day loan - these look bad enough on your credit history without defaulting on them as well. This WILL impact your plans of moving out unless you get them paid. Have a tight month, don't go out, and learn your lesson not to use PDL and not to lend money to your ex!!
(All said with the best intentions!)0
