Mobile contract coming to an end??

I don't (and have never) owed my mobile phone supplier money and they were not in my BR. The OR didn't ask about it but will have known who they were from my bank statements I guess. I have 2 Pay monthly contracts (me + teenager)
so - one contract (24 mths) is coming to an end next week, although the blackberry has survived 4 whole years of use and abuse from teen (couldn't afford an upgraded handset last time round so had extra minutes etc ) they really need a new one as its only the plastic bump cover that holding what's left of the phone together now.My phone is still in contract and will be until next year after AD.
What are people experiences? will orange let me renew/upgrade 1 of the 2 contracts?

if your staying with current provider most dont credit check an upgrade so should be fine....if you decided to use a different provider they WILL credit check and you'll failNot quite a newbie as you think

Hi,
I am with Orange have been for many years again 2 pay monthly myself and my teenage sons phone. I went bankrupt in March and upgraded my sons phone in July.No problems what so ever. They dont even credit check to add another contract to your exsisting account.
When you do go ensure you go into the orange/EE shop and ask about a loyalty discount this is 10% off your line rental each time you re-new your contract.
I hope this helpsBSC no.370 AD March 14

Thanks so much for the replies - I usually phone orange direct (the high street stores are 'middlemen' franchises so want their £'s) so we'll have a go and fingers crossed - just got to break it to the teen that an iPhone5s is just not going to happen....it will be whatever handset we can get for free on a basic low cost tariff

you should still get the loyalty discount by calling them, i was meaning not do it through phones4us and the likes who can now upgrade contracts.
Also if you work in certain public sectors orange do a 20% line rental discount and not sure if they messed up but i still have both discounts on my monthly contract!BSC no.370 AD March 14
