Jacamo gave me credit i didnt want Help please
first, let me start of by saying i am 19 years old and for all the years growing up my parents allways told me to stay AWAY from credit cards because its a dangerous place to tread. so i have never had a credit card or any credit ever.
after seing a television advert for jacamo i thought id sign up to see what they have to offer. i was instantly THROWN £125 to spend and stated a credit check was to be done. this is where the adrenaline started to pump, what had i just done, I DIDNT WANT THIS!
im never going to be spending a single penny of that money, im one hundred percent not using a service like jacamo who just throws that sort of service in my face.
im just really worried now, will i be getting bills thrown at me left and right for this credit i have been given on jacamo.co.uk i did not enter any debit card details on there website.
will there be an agreement in the post for this credit that i can rip up in 1000 pieces?
im genuinly worried!

I have seen the advert - it clearly states on screen that they will credit check you before doing business with you.
You should not be worried - the fact that they have given you a credit limit means your credit 'score' must be good - some day you may need a credit card or loan or a mortgage.
If you do not place an order they cannot charge you anything - simples.0 -
the fact that they credit checked me is fine, my credit score will be 0 as i have never had any credit. i just REALLY do not like the idea of money being thrown at me specifically £125.
im going to contact them and ask that they remove my details from there service. it seem VERY dodgy!
please note: it may seem like i was being a !!!!!! to people who have had loans etc etc, i am very sorry. this was not my motive as i understand times are hard. TRUST ME I KNOW lol, this is my main concern because i simply do not have excess money to pay for a credit limit i never wanted0 -
It is standard practice with mail order companies.
At 19 you could start to build your credit history - if you liked the site why not buy a shirt or two and pay the account off every month/every time you use it?
Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.0 -
owing someone something makes me vary uneasy i dont know why. perhaps its the deap down feeling of the possability of not being able to make a payment and being attacked with late charges and additional fees.
so aslong as i dont use of any of that credit, i wont be charged?0 -
You wont be charged unless you order something, and if you write a letter to them stating you wish to close your credit account, your trauma will be over.0

You can simply just ask them to convert the account into a cash only account.
