Maybe it's used for something out of the ordinary:

(I'd be glad to have a toaster where you can actually fit the flippin' bread all the way in!)

Couldn't agree more, have toasters got smaller lately or has bread got bigger? It's impossible to make nice toast anymore :(

Oww ok a toaster that did that would be worth a fair bit more than my usual toaster spend of about £30 :rotfl:

It's true, I have to flip the bread half way through toasting, or land up with an un-toasted end.

Best gadget I've seen today was the Biolite camp-stove that runs on twigs and charges a mobile phone.

    I've been Money Tipped!
£280 for a toaster ?? Whatever happened to sitting in front of the fire with the bread on the end of a fork and Val Doonican gently caressing the ear lobes with his soft melodies.
  • I just found myself back on here via a link on fb! Can't believe I didn't spot that typo, it was a typo Freud fans, honest!

  • That toast art is so cute. I was shocked at the price of the toaster too, I'm wondering if it orders new bread when running low, toasts it and butters it for you. Surely it can't just toast for that price!
