Ariston suggests gas to me. I think you're right about the grant though.

OP which part of Belfast - that would be very useful when recommending a tradesman?

I don't know any gas installers so I'll leave this enquiry to somebody who knows what they're talking about.

    Hi

I know I am taking this thread off at a slight tangent but hopefully someone can help me.

I recently got a new oil boiler installed. It is a Warm Flow condenser boiler. When I was reading through the passport which comes with the boiler it says that 'the installer must arrange for the commissioning engineer to complete the Commissioning Certificate portion of the passport in order to validate the warranty.'

It was the installer who completed the Commissioning Certificate for me.

My question is can the installer and commissioning engineerer be one and the same persor or should the commissioning engineer be independent of the installer?

    Thanks for any advise fortcoming.

It's better if they are the same person then that body assumes full responsibility.
