Hi, was declared bankrupt 3 years ago and included was a Northern Rock loan. I have just received a letter from NRAM stating that my loan has been sold to Marlin Capital Europe. Can they chase me for this debt. If not what what do I do. Is this letter a sent out automatically. Thanks in anticipation of your reply

Hi Chris1968,
If your bankruptcy included this Debt that is that, this is just admin error as Northern Rock have sold a shed load of old debt to these .
You can of course write to them to advise, but you have nothing to fear and they canno:)t chase you as the debt does not exist.

Hi, thanks for the help. Got another letter phoned them up and told them I was a discharged bankrupt and they started to squirm and after I advised them to stop contacting me they couldn't apologise fast enough.
