Awaiting Completion, Credit Checks...

Hi, was after a little advice if possible? Me and my girlfriend are awaiting completion on our new build property, have been since April this year! Anticipated completion date of November 22!
My mortgage broker advised us not to have any further credit checks, pretty understandable, however myself and girlfriend went to set up our New Joint Bank Account out yesterday, not realising the bank employee had just ran a credit check! The crazy thing is, the account is actually my normal day to day bank account, have literally added my girlfriend on to the account!
Now I'm sweating a little bit with under 4 weeks to go hoping this won't be frowned upon! Surely Mortgage providers expect couples to sort out joint bank accounts whilst awaiting completion on there new home?
A reply would be greatly appreciated,
Mark.

A credit check in itself shouldn't do any harm, as long as you haven't applied for new credit or taken on more debt on cards etc. you already have use of...
The mortgage provider will only care about increased (potential) lending and only a credit check means little to nothing as far as that is concerned.0 -
Great stuff thanks for this... Yeah I have definitely not took out any further loans, credit cards, increased overdrafts etc...
Just literally added my girlfriend onto my account to effectively become a joint account, for mortgage payment etc to come out of,
Thanks, Mark.0
