Does anyone have an idea how long it takes to get an in principle agreement? I'm in Scotland, so I need to have this before I put in an offer.

I got 3 when I was looking to buy. You can get an agreement in principle by calling the bank and applying for it. They will do a basic credit assesment and, if successful, you will get a printed agreement in principle letter within 5 working days. This was in England mind you. Good luck!0
