What a great evening I have had! Took a walk out with hubby - found 10p in a car parking machine, 5p under the coinstar machine, and a penny in front of the newsagent section. But the best was 2.10Euros and 50USD cents at the coinstar machine......which I snaffled as I can use both! Converting on xe.com gives me a haul of £2.25 this evening PLUS £1.91 from wombled receipts too! What a great night! :j

Do you use the euros or dollars when you go on holiday HOK3Y or do you use one of those coins changing sites please? always wondered whether they're worth it (I've got a haul of wombled foreign currency)

I use the Euro when we're on the mainland (we go regularly as we have children there) and I am married to an American so either use the coins when we go Stateside or have another American friend trade them for sterling at the local US base. Otherwise, the choices are limited....better selling to a friend getting ready to travel.

Well done FC you have done so well :) Great about the giveaways I always try and do that. Karma and all that and we know how it feels to be in that position of trying to keep your head above water and still sinking slowly !!

My news £100 of coins in the bank today so smashed target on day 5 :T:T So will double it to £20 a day.

But the best news is I am a big Charity shop fan and 95% of what I own comes secondhand from somewhere .
When I went to the bank I nipped in to a charity shop and came out with a pair of UGGS which I have always wanted but couldn't bring myself to pay £259 :eek: For them in the shop. For £19 :eek::eek:
100% genuine done my homework on them when I was considering buying a pair. My size and pristine :T:T:T:T

So happy the day just couldn't get any better :D

    Ah thanks - that's lucky.

I tempted to try cash 4 coins out as I'd like to set up a fundraiser based on them at a community project where I volunteer if they actually pay out. I suspect lots of people have a few odd euros etc lying around and don't go abroad that often.

That's amazing!!! I buy a new pair of Uggs every year (I couldn't find any cheap enough last year) and I love them! They even have decent enough grip for snow. I might go scouting around for a deal.

I've been thinking about the rest of this challenge, and I really don't think I will make much more. I don't want to commit to selling anything that needs posting as I go away in just over two weeks. And with Facebook selling - I really don't want to waste what little time we have to get everything done before we go away, waiting for Facebook buyers.

So with that in mind, I cashed out on Qmee, I'm watching so many AppTrailers videos and I reached payout on Crowdology. Nothing to add yet as I still need to pay for postage to Australia using my Paypal funds, then I'll know what I can add.

Edit: oh and I was emailed asking if I could do a small £4 mystery shop - I go there weekly anyway so that'll be a small boost.

Have you thought about selling them on ebay/fb? just a thought but i don't think there would be any problems with doing that and specifying collection only - i know i like to have some change on me when i go away for tipping and airport machines etc :)

    Hi everyone,
Last week I got £3.48 savings on shopping and £77.90 from some freelance work.

This week I have already got:
    £29.80 from surveys
    £10 from s&s
£102.50 from some freelance work that I done last week

    £223.68 / £300

My word I have really gotten off the starting blocks this month as I am almost at my target already.
