Baby Shower

Help! Got a baby shower to go to this afternoon. Not having been to one before, I just got a friend to make me a bouquet of socks (cost £20). I thought this would be enough but looking at the net, people gives loads of stuff. I am panicking now....the nearest place I have to me is Sainsbury's.
Do you think I need to pop out and get some more bits?
Also, this shower is being held at a hotel at the cost of £22.50 per person (have to pay ourselves).
I am thinking today could end up costing me a lot of money :-(
Any ideas?

Your gift sounds lovely! Hopefully the mother wants to share her news with family and friends, not just receive baby "stuff"! Have a great time.
