hi all fascinating thread but i'm slightly confused by the APG thing, is there a link to a dummy guide?

I dont understand why you wouldn't go straight to the cheapest supermarket, why go to a rival and get price guarantee refund?

I get that smartwool gives 10% extra off but surely there is more to it what am i missing? the penny is yet to drop......

Ah remember my days as a lurker wondering what the hell was going on - getting half of it and then one day staring at figures eureka moment.

Keep looking at the figures and the shops and eventually it will. Clue - so look at Northern geezers bean shops - Asda v Tesco - remember in store asda charge £3 for 2 packs of 4 and look at the figures and apg again :).

Ooops just seen something re test result for beans today ... they were working at 23 minutes past midnight Apg o£ 5.11 on £9.38 shop. Not sure when they update (lunchtime? Hopefully not as its taken so long to get them on there!

Don't you just hate struggling with those self service tills and then getting the automated voice "Thank you for using our fast track service"? X3 was wanting to get finish and beans before midnight but ended up being later. HTHS

Just bought 4 Lynx, no offer prices on the shelf, but went through at 2 for £5. Hope it works as the men in my house go through lots of this.

Also bought 4x Options chocolate sachets that were 4 for £1 but offer didn't come off. CS Said the offer had changed to 6 for £1.50. Might be worth others checking these.

Got my £2 GC after reminding.

T&Cs do say you can stack certain conditional spend MOCs (well online ones so presumably instore is same policy(?))....but the total spend is supposed to be greater than the various conditional amounts combined

What I mean is if I happen to accidentally hand over 2 vouchers from my wallet, 1 saying £4 off £40 and one saying £2 off £20 and my shop comes to £40.xx at a manned till, then I wouldn't argue if they handed back the £2 one saying that I can't use both. Totally and utterly up to the SA, with no disputes from me if it's refused, once the small print that most people don't bother reading is pointed out.

Do you have a few shops in your trolley, a trolley convoy, or do you go in store several times?
Just curious as I did 3 shops today in one trolley with little man helping himself and was nearly tearing my hair out!!:rotfl::eek:

Please can I get a second opinion on cheese triggers (2 for £5)

Looking at MSM I see 13/14 and on a.com 20. It looks to me like a few of the 30% less fat ones are missing from MSM (mature, medium and extra mature)
HOWEVER, I always do this and someone then finds them. So past expereince says I should wait, my impartience says ask someone else what they can see. Impatience wins.

(and before anyone suggests extra strong red my A donlt seel that one hence seeking an alternative)
