I remember that one when the icelandic volcano ash had suspended flights over our airspace. There were 3 flights heading for the UK when the UK authorities had supposedly not yet given authority for flights to resume. By the time they reached UK airspace, the authority was still meeting, allegedly. Surprise, surprise the airspace was opened.
