Good morning everyone.fairclaire wrote: »I got 2 sets in the viners sale, last year I think? It's excellent quality and well worth the money. I think I paid £30 ish for 2 sets (saw it on grabbit) and for the first time....ever, I think. We have matching cutlery
Ive hidden the teaspoons, DS2 has a tendency to throw them in the bin with his yogurt pots!
My children and OH do this, sick of buying new spoons.Off to help sis on a catering job in 2 weeks. It's D+versity rehearsals for their tour in December. Thought I might ask A++ley for a few dance moves. ( If you saw me dancing you would know how funny that is!!)
Have a good time, my DS2 would love to be their, he loves Diversity, he does streetdancing, danced at Royal Albert Hall, and loved it.0 -

I'm not sure I understand the first part of the above post - in fact, I don't understand it: the baby bath was actually £2.76 showing for Morries, the £1.50 price is Mr A's! It hasn't added 6p, it looks like it's lost - well you can calculate it different ways - depends on whether you treat as a loss what you would have got had M been same price or cheaper or just the loss from it being 10% cheaper than M's much higher price. In other words, it takes you from £1.50 to 10% lower than £2.76, so it's about a 98p loss. There is some Johnson's baby stuff on offer in Morries, but not sure it's this one. I have already thought for some time that the branded items are too expensive and, without more, such as MOCs or cashback (or preferably both!), it's too much. Even £1.50 is too much, IMO, for 500ml baby bath (or whatever it is). And even 10% lower than £1.30 seems way expensive when T's Eday Value Baby things are in the tens of pennies!:D:rotfl: I guess I've seen too much RTC stuff over the time, that it now seems the regular stuff, even on supposedly 'half price', is way too much.
I think they were looking at the wrong bubble bath. One of them compared ok at 1.60 but the one we noticed (the error!!) was 2.76. I could get this a lot cheaper I'm sure but it's nice and when I've spent just 2.00 on shopping in November I feel the little one deserves a treat
In fact I have got that much stuff - the cupboards are spilling out. Time to take a box to the foodbank...0 -
