Hi there - I'm back with my shopping safely done:eek::eek::eek:.

After a near-trouting: alert SA but fortunately non-alert supervisor.
Firstly though I went to CS - I was overcharged on a glue stick yesterday - SEL had big 50p r'back but went through 10p more. Didn't mention this earlier as it was a little embarassing that I didn't notice it in the store last night:rotfl:. Anyway, easily given the overcharge back and £2 GC without asking.

Then went on to do my shopping. Made the best out of the 'flavours' of DW cleaner that the store had left, and with only one rinse aid in stock. Then went to till with APG - it was not that large - in the lower end of double figures but SA called over the tannoy. :eek:I thought the CS who had given me the GC earlier was being called over for a minute. It wasn't however, and SA twice asked whether the voucher was okay to accept because APGs sometimes aren't correct!:eek: Supervisor told SA it was fine and SA put it through. Heart-stopping moments! Then of course the prompt for the amount as it was over £9.99.

I think I will go and sit down now. I'm too old for this game:rotfl::rotfl:. And best part was the APG back off the original shop was a lower percentage than the earlier APG I'd spent off another shop in a different store on the way. That one - far higher percentage - I even said "there's a good one" on handing it to that SA - but scanned without question and easily left the store. Glad I didn't say anything at all on the next shop!:rotfl: Lower percentage back there - but had items increasing the spend, such as the glue stick:D. Moral seems to be more likely to avoid trouting if you don't speak up and dispute anything, stay quiet and it'll be fine.

Just had a bizarre conversation with DS2. He had to read a chapter of his English book for homework earlier. He is reading The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. He informed me earlier that he'd read a chapter of the wrong book......so off he went with the correct book and read it.

He's just told me that his teaching asst. wrote in his homework diary 'read chapter of book' so taking things literally as he does, he picked a random book from the shelf ( The falls....by Ian Rankin?) and just read a chapter of it :D:o

I think I will invite Mr TS to my ironing party.

You are obviously not looking after him properly:o:)

Mr TS says if you are doing the ironing he will gladly accept the invite. ;) :rotfl:
  • Evening all

One bs despatch notice and this was second order. Not worried as you never know with bs. Last had 2 different couriers half hour apart.
Happy if I get one order but 2 would replenish stock as dd cleared me out of bs last visit.

    Wondering if anyone could help.
I am looking for display of artificial or dried flowers with lights about 3 ft high. Is there somewhere I can get this without having to buy the bits seperately.
No DM not a christmas tree before you ask:rotfl:

    Nice quiet day today.

Been reading the comments on the photos on Facebook. Apparantly on the last Philips Ironing party they received an ironing board too, but Philips only make one, so you get the poshest, funkiest Ironing board you ever did see...

This is the one they sent last time and is the one in the pictures...

Wow!! I cannot wait :D thanks for this info...
