Re your baby bath, there's no reason for you to be unhappy about buying it.
You gained 6p on your apg, because Asda want to be 10% cheaper than Morries which would be £1.44. You paid £1.50 so you will have gained the 6p in the apg.

Sometimes it is worth it to put items you want in that are less than 10% cheaper to save you buying a filler item.
Not getting on at you or singling you out at all:), but I've seen other posters being unhappy because something was 5p or 10p more elsewhere.
It is not always a bad thing!;):D

    Agreed, I've never bought a filler on APG/PP....I buy stuff I need/will use!:D

    I don't even know what a flump is!!;)

on the subject of wombling....I was camping in Devon last year and the previous week had been awful weather wise...

I think someone had decided camping wasn't for them and dumped their whole kit!! the tent was ripped but I got

    a Vango tent carpet
    full set of vango poles
    vango wind break
    camp kettle

could have got more but already had a full car load of camping kit and I think the bin man had been in between me and the Mrs going back and forth to collect more!!

So now the elite womblers can go camping with the BBQ, salmon and "chicken fillets":D
