Afternnon everyone,
Just back from A's myself, i'll tell you about that in a min, but just had to quote these posts first that made me remember my best ever womble.....Back from As :)The only pasta they had was fusili and I read yesterday that one's a no go so no shopping for me  takes me an hour to walk it each way too!
Luckily I was also having a cuppa with my Dad, who kept apologising as the pasta was for him not me :rotfl:
On the way home I wombled a hamster cage :rotfl:I'm sure DH thinks i'm beginning to lose the plot
It's almost the same as our current one which is very old and it has 2 bits missing and a broken part so between that one and this one I can make a nice new cage and DD will be over the moon because the new one's pink :j
Afternoon everyone:wave:
I GOT NO DISPATCH EMAILS BOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO .
opps sorry caps
Dip you do make me laugh, a new sort of wombler:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::mad: I can hear you laughing from here! :rotfl:
I womble all sorts of things
The dish drainer you see in our kitchen I think was wombledwe've had it years now and all it needed was nailing back together
Was living in Inverness at the time, and found an electric sewing machine dumped with some other ropey boxes and cases at the side of the road.... this must have been almost 20 years ago.... Well it's still in use to this day.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I'm glad i'm not the only one dipdap. :T0 -

pls
The Equitable Life payment scheme was set up to make payments to late joiners of Equitable Life Assurance Society with-profits policies. Essentially the with-profits fund was over-promised, with early joiners getting more than their share of the cake and latecomers to the party a lot less. The regulators were accused of being asleep at the wheel, and campaigners spent years trying to get redress.
With-profits annuitants who bought their annuities between 1 September 1992 and 31 December 2000 are being paid 100% of their 'relative loss'. Other with-profits policyholders who bought or paid into policies from 1992/93 (see link below for specific dates) will only get a payment equivalent to 22.4% of their relative loss.
It has proved very difficult to track down all eligible policyholders, which is why adverts have been placed in newspapers etc to try and reach any remaining before the scheme closes down.
For details of specific policies eligible for payments see:
http://equitablelifepaymentscheme.independent.gov.uk/eligiblepolicies/eligiblepolicytypes.htm
There is a lot more information on the website.

Went to A's for some dishwasher cleaner for my sis, but now dreading the APG size.....
I got 6 cleaners, but they only had 4 original so I had to get 2 lemon.
Also got a 1ltr bottle of baileys coz an elderly friend asked me today if I could get a bottle when going to T's as they on offer at £12..... I said I'll get you one from A's for that (as we don't live far away).... when she asked how come my sis piped up and said don't even ask, she got me 2 boxes of Cobra last week for £5 each. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I think there could be about another £1.50 on APG too. Better wait till weekend for a nice young male SA.:p:p

Missed the BS glitch  but my house is coming down with the stuff so maybe not such a bad thing :rotfl:
Was going to have a go buying 3 Ts meal deals in one shop - I have bought a single deal before with the wine giving a PP against As but can I just check what is the best variety of products to get if I am getting 3 deals to get the best overall price/return via PP?
I see some are buying 6 creamy mash sides for the 3 for 2 offer - is it only the creamy mash that the 3 for 2 kicks in with or does it work with other sides in the meal deal? I think I may just go for the 3 sides and 3 desserts as the swiss white and dark choc cheesecake is yuuuuuuum. Loved the lasagne and the chick & bacon filo pie too :EasterBun
Also just a thought - Metro stores give out PPs ok, don't they?!
I have been getting 3 Garnacha wine, 1 Lasagne, 2 other mains, 3 mash, and 3 different dessetts and getting a £10 PP back.... dont forget your fillers, coke zero would be a good one if you have the coupon and money back on shopitize too;)It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
