AAu, are you up to date on the T&C of online APGS?? (Only asking, as I know you are a sucker for the small print ;) )

I haven't done an online A shop so I haven't really looked into it.

I did read it once but I think they changed it since then

    How *not* to do it

    Savvybuyer??
Hardly! After finding that the Danny Lemon Power (washing-up) that I bought in a certain store didn't work very well for me, I said I'd be willing to pay more:eek: for some Fairy liquid instead. And it's probably ended up that way!

The Mr A I used had the right size of Fairy WUL but not the right type. Had the right type in every size except the one I needed! I bet they had it in stock on Sunday when I did my vs Sains shopping and forgot to put it on there (Sains. price has now increased in the last day:(). The colleague whom I asked most probably thought I was strange when I asked whether they had the Lemon or Original in that size rather than the Eucalyptus. I suspect people generally just pick up the brand and the amount they need and don't bother with what type it is. Perhaps I can't stand the smell of Eucalyptus:rotfl::rotfl:.

So, too desperate for Fairy liquid, albeit after much consideration I picked up a different size of the type I felt was less likely to be available at the competitor... and then :eek: instead of buying it separately put it on my "APG shop" because, of course, I wouldn't get any result from a separate purchase of the WUL and, of course, just to see if it compared and in what way.

It doubtless works out more expensive than the other size because, even if lower per ml in A, and stores tend to go down to the same price per unit whatever the size at various different times, therefore 10% cheaper than the price of the other size would doubtless be less than the straight price on the apparently 'cheaper' version.

So...I'm all in the hands of Mr A's agency Morries price collectors on this. It's eyes down for an N/A, but I bet watch it be £1.50 more expensive in M:eek::eek:!

None of the 'test' items bought tonight, because I've done far too many tests that have come to nought and lost too much money on them, so I don't do tests anymore. Except for... hopefully non-comparable washing up liquids that risk being far more expensive elsewhere:(:rotfl::rotfl:.

Wish me...lack of luck, and then I probably hit lucky!:) So my curiosity will 'see' how it compares or not!

Tough day today. Had a quiet afternoon baking banana cakes and then went to my diet appt to see about becoming a counsellor. Just have to complete the forms tommorow and wait for training course in December. Then home at 6.30 and back out to meet someone at Mums who bought the riser recliner bed I was selling on E-Bay. Mum used it for 1 night but did not like it. Sis and I only paid £40.00 in charity shop so sold it on at no profit on there ( advertised it twice but no takers). Lovely young couple came about 20 miles to get it for their 9 year old son who has bad asthma in winter and has to sleep propped up. They were thrilled and I was glad it went to a good home.
DD was a bit down after therapy so we just had 90 minutes of tears and deep discussion. She is finding it tough but ultimately is getting better. Just tucked her in with a Ribena and a few giggles about something silly.
Managed to lose another 1lb this week and up to 1000 calories from tommorow so can have breakfast lunch and dinner and fruit.
    Celebrating with a Coke Zero!!
