The way they try to hurt, annoy, sadden, bully and just generally try to 'p' people off annoys me and it is crazy that in general they are allowed to continue, yet if we overreact to the bait that they set, we are the ones who end up in trouble.
I think there are therefore only two ways forward (at least for me)..
1. Kill them with kindness. Reply to the drivel in their posts with kind, helpful comments. Who knows, maybe under their harsh exteriors there are lovely caring, sharing people trying to get out.;)
2. Use the ignore button.
In real life, if someone is being horrible to me I think..ooh if you want to do this I will make you work really hard to be horrible, so I will kill you with kindness!
But I also always remember that when someone is being horrible it is normally because they are hurting inside, so the kindness is not going to do any harm.
But it they p*ss me off too much... they had better run and hide!!;)

Talking about confrontation. My DD who is midway through her CAT therapy was friends with a girl for some years. As girls do she lent her some clothes and shoes. However she asked for them back some weeks ago and the girl ignored it. Then a few days later a pic of this girl's friend appeared on FB wearing one of my daughters tops. So she asked again for the stuff and said she was a bit upset to see her clothes on someone else and got a really nasty text back.
Fast forward 5 weeks and still no sign of the clothes. I know the girl and text her myself ( I know interfering Mum!!) and she sent me a nice text back but said she has been waiting 5 weeks for an apology from DD??. So how to proceed? She works in Tesco nearby and I see her when I go in but have not spoken to her recently.
DD is doing really well with therapy and really does not want a confrontation.
Suggestions anyone?
I would go and see the mum and talk to her, hopefully you will get a way forward that will ensure both girls come out of this with minimal negative consequence!
