Who was I talking to about the goose fat potatoes......just a thought......are you taking them out of the foil and putting on a baking tray. The heat circulates around them better making them go crispy

Made me smile TM as I have been keeping these for years now so much better than ruining baking trays for some things but agree the roast pots need to go in a proper roasting pan to crisp up properly.
