Leave home at 6.30am
Arrive in Manchester at 10am. Make our way to cash points. Friend goes first, I use the same one after her. It gave me back my card but not my money    I keep checking my account online afterwards to make sure it hasn't come out of my account. So far so good but I will be on the phone to my bank in the morning to make absolutely sure.
Switch to credit card to be on the safe side.
I find a jacket that I like, priced up at £70. I take it to the till and it goes through at £70 then immediately takes a 20% discount off! There weren't any signs up anywhere saying discount, so I amand :j
We take a break for champagne cocktailsand shop some more
Leave Manchester at 7, drive back through some atrocious weather and eventually get home at midnight. Proper zzzzzzzzzz
But we had a truly fab day, and it was so nice to be able to spend money and not worry about it. That bit is partly down to you lot, sharing glitches and tips to save money :A

Wet wipes - running low
Cheese - you can never have too much cheese.
Crisps - mmmmmm
But not one to knock a gift horse in the mouth, the current chicken glitch is making a huge difference to us. I can feed the 4 of us on one packet for a meal so at £1.80 I think it's superb!
After Friday night, I cannot eat crisps!!!:D:D:D:D:D

We both ended up very glad that I had back up. Funny thing is, we walked past it again shortly after and someone was at the same cashpoint drawing money out :mad::mad:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
