Sorry, I haven't tried this one. At the moment I've got a huge pan of caramelised onion chutney on the go - I can'r imagine where the great pile of onions in my garage came from!

From my shop today..... thought all the finest potatoes were comparing now but obviously not as 2 packs were "meal deal" flashed and 2 weren`t.

Only 1 veg side 3 for 2 came off so £22.50 for the above with £5.24 pp.
Maybe its the "unflashed" ones that go thru at 3 for 2 but compare to asda but the "meal deal" ones that don`t compare to asda but don`t go thru at 3 for 2 either (swings and roundabouts)

Also used a 75p coupon off finest chicken or beef pie that came with my clubcard coupons. It didn`t scan but cashier agreed I`d bought a chicken pie so put it through

Just checked .... I got a meal deal yesterday and the roast potatoes were "unflashed" barcode ending 51262 they compared £2.50 to £2.25 T v A
So I think 3 "unflashed" would cost £5 but compare to £6.75 at asda
or 2 "flashed" wouldn`t compare to Asda
so if you are doing a pp shop only get 2 but if not get 3 "unflashed"

Its for my sister, she made some last year and was lovely, couldnt find the recipe she used, so made a different one yesterday and said can see its not the same.
She also made caramelised onions yesterday:D
