Elsie - did your doubled up CC vouchers actuallyscan against the 3 bottles of Garnacha from the Meal Deals ? ine wouldn't scan and they said it was because the Meal Deal wine was already discount and I hadn't actuall spent £20 on wine alone.

Evening all, back home at last.....
Sorry i didn't answer this post earlier, had to go out (not shopping) and am just home and trying to catch up. You lot talk too much.:eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

No, it didn't scan, no doubt coz wine was in an offer, but they never told me that before I purchased the vouchers ;)...... I did only get £5 worth, so doubled up to £10, and the 3 wines full price come to £23.97, although I don't think I would have pushed doing £10 doubled. :o
SA ended up being told by supervisor to put it through non scan after I held up my bottles that had finest screw lids on. :D

They aren't that good of a friend.
Tbh I probably am naive. But I don't hang around with anyone who takes drugs. Family or friends.

How are you feeling now, lovey? Better I hope :)

    re: drugs

I was treating a man yesterday with a severe heroin addiction; he was near death.

The amount of patients we see in A&E resus with drug overdoses is truly unremarkable (whether legal or illegal). They arrive in a coma and some even come in with heart attacks (particularly cocaine users). We make them better, they go home and come back again the following week! Sometimes it does make me wonder whether they truly appreciate the work that all the doctors, nurses, auxillary nurses, porters, lab technicians, radiographers, paramedics etc. do.

    Seriously, drugs are not cool.

    Well said.

Maybe "everyone" is on it. But the people I associate with myself I can honestly say they aren't (besides housemate who surprised me, but we aren't close..)

I would never try it. Not even a little.

I already have an addiction. And it's call tesco :rotfl::o
