Finally got to go to a Finest Food Evening, I've been checking several times a day and they had all been booked until this morning when one became available for tonight due to cancellation, was great fun and both hubby and I really enjoyed trying things we wouldn't normally buy(Unless they were glitchy such as the Finest Cookies one). I had never tried blue cheese, I think I thought it was going to taste moldy but it was really nice, would have been lovely in a leek soup, not sure what I am going to do with the wild mushrooms yet but I'm sure to find something to make x

I received the same in my bag with wavy pasta and a recipe card. Can't remember what the recipe was for though :rotfl:

    Good evening:Aand good morning:D
Evening to everyone and hoping you are all well.
Just a question regarding the Achica orders at the end of Sept. I put in an order for 4 tins of shortbread biscuits, and the confirmation email said they would be delivered the week 12-17th october. When I check my Achica account, so far the items are saying payment has been accepted, and items have not been received at warehouse.
Just wanted some advice - should I contact Achica, to ask about the order or should I hang on? I am a little worried as I used the voucher code, but didn't pay any money on the order. Some advice would be much appreciated, as I was hoping to give them as xmas pressies.
    TIAx
My order was split in 3, I've received the first two boxes with 2 weeks between them, still waiting for number 3. I did not contact them, but it's your call:)
:T Not heard it before but I like it. How's about some moody Massive Attack: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEgX64n3T7g

  • Good Morning, where is everybody?
Had a mixed day yesterday, found a nest of 8 Snakes, took 4 of them in 3 shops. The shop that I did with two came back as 'not enough items'
I am paranoid about getting enough to compare and always get 11 items,(3 extra) these were all grocery/chilled items as usual, so don't know why it won't compare. Not going back to that Store for a while but will try to take back the snakes for refund then try to buy again. Problem is, my nearest store doesn't stock them but I hope it will be on their system. Won't get there until tomorrow so hope they are still hissing.
Also did a AvT shop with trigger and 2 McVities Biscuits but they came back as N/A, even though I'd seen them earlier in T's at £3:mad:
On way home did a T BNI shop to recycle a PP which was successful (Did two Finest x 3 yesterday so now well stocked)
Will look in later, off to bed now after another exciting (not) nightshift.

Coconut cupcakes with lemon buttercream and cookie 'dead fingers'.

Apple and cinnamon cupcakes with vanilla buttercream and sugar glass shards with raspberry 'blood'.

All finished. I'm baked out for a day or two now :rotfl: Hope you have lovely glitch days :D

I seem to have let my finger slip and ordered quite a lot of porridge.
Don't even need any, but am sure Food Bank will be grateful.

Exactly how big is a parcel with 500 packs of porridge, please? :rotfl:

Me too. Should be interesting when that parcel arrives :rotfl:

    Morning all :D
