DS2 will be up very shortly for his second wind, and then I can get to bed.
He made me laugh earlier. He *thinks* he's scared of spiders. there was a monster one in the bath. He came down and told me he'd 'dealt with it'.........by lifting it out of the bath, wrapping it in loo roll and flushing it away . In asked him why he didn't just put the cold tap on in the bath?
he gave me one if his simplest answers ever and it made me smile'I didn't think about that'
I do hope that this post doesn't offend anyone enough to report it and get it removed
OMG I did that once to a huge one - sent it down the plug hole and when I got in the bath I nearly died when it popped out of the overflow and joined me in the bath. Far safer down the loo IF you can do that - I can't! Hubby opens window and ejects for me.0 -

When I was MUCH younger in my first house I'd bought, single footloose & fancy free. I always thought I was being watched. The chap opposite (bit older than me) always seemed to be in his window whenever I came home. I mentioned this to my beau at the time so he drove his car round the back of my house, let himself in the back door & watched when I drove up.
He just couldn't believe it when the chap appeared and flashed me constantly (using the curtains!) when I was letting myself in. He was all for going over & having words but I dissuaded him. Instead I told my next door neighbour, a friendly policeman who used to be married to his obnoxious sister - they had a very messy divorce & her family hated him. He was extremely pleased to get his own back.0
