You might want to put the box in the first row the right way up before you do it is completely upside down , would not want the snakes to start hissing.0 -

Maybe your oh is worrying he might get dragged up there at some point when his life on the ground is just starting to feel comfortable.
Big hugs mhoc. Filling your boxes will help you feel in control.
A question for box fillers. Do we have to put contents in a shoe box (if so will need to buy new shoes for said boxes:T).
Lad next door is in army so was going to ask if he could take boxes back with him one weekend. Collected quite a few bits. Black tshirts are proving a problem. Primark have some cheap ones and vests but what is the average size or do they swap things. Primark also have packs of lovehearts which are strangley on the list.
Sure I can find some boxes on fleabay. Lots of cats and toothpast sample sizes, brushes and was going to get small watercolour kits from the works although I would have thought a bit hot out there. Have lots of little watercolour pads and sure can talk my local art store to giving a few things.
Will find the list tomorrow and get started making boxes up. I thought the birthday cards for them to send was a good idea too.

One of my friends does the shoeboxes for operation Christmas child and she goes to shoe shops and ask for any boxes they don't need. She always has plenty,

My week is not starting too well.
Started yesterday with a call from eldest son, a bit miserable, fed up, tired, 12 hour shift - plus the 5 hour time difference does not help.
My car battery is not holding a charge, flat again this afternoon, must be a short somewhere, completely flat again this afternoon despite being a new battery So OH tried to recharge it and it just won't charge - turns out the new battery charger is a dudd. OH goes to Halfords gets another charger and gets the battery fully charged.
my car is booked into the garage tomorrow to see what the problem is so we took it to the garage tonight, Oh following in his. It is pitch black, wet and blustery out, the garage is only 10 mins away but now I seem to have lost power steering so its like driving a brick.
Anyway the garage will sort it out tomorrow but I am always having electric problems with my cars.
Tomorrow it will be 4 weeks since I lost my Dad. Today it is 10 years to the day since we lost my mum - it was Monday of half term and she died suddenly in her sleep, Dad found her in the morning.
AnywAy I am going to do the Christmas shoe boxes so that will keep me occupied and cheerful and hopefully snakes will still be working in the afternoon, fingers crossed
Just for you from all of us0 -

Morning all.
Hope everyone is ok.
Lovely and sunny here today. I'm having one of those rare mornings when everything is just lovely. The boy is in a great mood. He climbed on me earlier, trumped on me, sniffed the air and announced it smelt good. It took me a full 5 minutes to stop giggling.:rotfl:Life is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -

My hubby would be so jealous of this. He would probably cry if he saw it actually lol. :rotfl:Life is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0
