    Queen of cheap

Ouch to the glass still being in there No wonder it was throbbing, your body will have been treating it as a foreign body and trying to expel it any which way it could.

Glad thats "all" it was, I know too well that it could have been much worse

I think I remember reading about your finger..did you have an op on yours? ..pre children I use to work in the kitchens and have many war wounds from it, on one of my fingers I still have no sensation on the top :/

Had to laugh..I met rudeboy today while exiting the beer isle with the snakes in the trolley...as soon as he looked at my trolley then at me I knew who it was :) he asked me if I was ilovetoshop.. I so wanted to say no for a laugh but I think the snakes and finger gave me away :) was nice to meet you ..maybe see you if I travel that way again :)

So far these snakes have slithered right passed me. Has anyone found these in S.Yorks yet?

I don't have the time to partake in many glitches these days, couldn't dream about keeping up with this thread either, but I am making it my mission to hunt a few down!

I got away with my Finest Meals/wine double up plan but more by luck than judgement ! My final bill, after 15% wine discount and Finest Meal Deal discount, came to £31.55. But the 2 x £10 Finest Wine double up coupons wouldn't scan - CA called a supervisor who reckoned it was cos I'd had a 15% discount already (although that still wouldn't have taken the wine cost down to less than £20) and tried adding on an extra bottle of wine and then scanning the double up vouchers. But not even one of them would scan. She then thought it might be because they were part of a Meal Deal so she stored the transaction and cartd me off to CS to sort it out. Fortunately the Poison Dwarf wasn't on shift and the very helpful CS lady just said, OK, I'll just have to do them manually ! So she did just that - and then scanned all my other coupons which brought my total down to £3.62 which I then paid using a Daily Mail Tesco gift card. I was so wound up I forgot to give her my coupon for a free Cravendale. After all that, A PP for £9.xx popped out.

I dont know what happened with the wine - I would have thought at last one of the £10 coupons would have worked especially after she added another bottle on as one £7.99 bottle plus even a proportion of the meal deal costs would have come to more than £10. Anyway, I reckon I was really lucky to get away with it and I'm very happy.

I did the same with the finest wine. also had non scan. also got pp. used 5 pound hh, 4 for 30, 1 pound finest and 70p pie and 3.39 pp

paid 1.69.. didn't get 3 for 2 on mash so went to cs and got 2.50 back. didn't ask for dtd as knew I had done well.:D

An absolute must - will cost around £7 but well worth it to have positive confirmation of receipt. A lot of eBay buyers of vouchers of any kind rely on non-tracked posting so they can make a claim.

May not agree with this but it's true - there are FB groups of some strange-named people crowing over their 'successes'.

Don't the vouchers have your name on them?

Sorry for such a noob question but I don't understand how a. You can sell them and b. for so much? Explanation welcome!

I'm happy with the price - I always aim to pay less than £1 in cash after APGs and haven't failed since the choc glitch started. But I understand that cold, hard cash is difficult to part with after last year :D

Totally know where you are coming from, normally I only pay a pound odd after using my APG.. Have a house full of stuff I will use, don't think I will have to buy shampoo, deodorant or lynx for a good couple of years.... It's great...
