Try getting some trolley coins. That way, you CAN'T spend them, and they will always be available for trolleys.
I always have a few in the car, and keep one in my pocket.
Better still - see if you can womble some trolley coins - it is suprising how many you can find if you look
Or, make some out of wood - so long as they are the correct thickness for the slot. They don't even have to be circular, just round at the end that goes in.0 -
Well I don't know what i've missed, but need to find a few mins to look back at last thread to see what from the list I made last night may still work....
I think it says things like
recover, beanz and loyd gross......
Although I think I need to add a bit if normal shopping to my list too.
Recover stopped working last night/this morning as allegedly oos at A (admittedly missing from A.com at the moment).
Sorry for the long post in advance ...
Furthering the discussion earllier about the (perceived/actual) revised APG rules and its specific reference to if an item is missing off A.com it will not match on the APG. As a test, can people post what they see on MSM and MSL for searching for Lynx Recover please? I see:
MSL (logged in, no choice!)
Set as A - A £2.37, S £1, T £1.20
Set as S - same as above
Set as T - same as above
MSM (on iPhone Safari, logged in)
Set as A - new red Out of Stock bar across the photo (but product appears when set to A, didn't on Friday), pop up T £1.20, A £2.37*oos, S N/A
Set as T - T £1.20, pop up T £1.20, A £2.37*oos, S N/A
Set as S - T £1.20, A £2.37*oos, S £1
MSM (IE on laptop, logged out)
Set as A - new red Out of Stock bar across the product photo (but product appears when set to A, didn't Friday), pop up T £1.20, A £2.37*oos, S N/A
Set as T - T £1.20, pop up T £1.20, A £2.37*oos, S N/A
Set as S - No results found
MSM (IE on laptop) Logged in
Set as A - new red Out of Stock bar across the photo (but appears when set to A, didn't previously), pop up T £1.20, A £2.37*oos, S N/A
Set as T - T £1.20, pop up T £1.20, A £2.37*oos, S N/A
Set as S - T £1.20, A £2.37*oos, S £1
This demonstrates:
a) That MSL and MSM do not show the same information (even when logged in with the same account) - we have noticed for example herb potatoes where the glitch price appears on MSL but NA on MSM since MSL launched.
b) MSM may show different when logged in or out (matching local stock .. but not indicating which store it is matching to!)
c) MSM now has a red Out of Stock icon that appears over the product image that wasn't there yesterday (we would have noticed/commented). Where this appears, it is perhaps an indicator that a product is a high risk of not appearing on the APG?
So in our current circumstances where Recover did not appear on APG (or if like me you only had 8 items and therefore this resulted in no APG at all) the APG result would appear to match A.com - MSM logged out (A Out of Stock) would therefore appear to cause a non-compare (even though you have bought it) and MSL is not a reliable indicator?
We have previously found that where you MSL scan instore in A and it comes back as Product Not Found then in all likelihood it also does not appear on the APG results, but they have perhaps amended the algorithm on the MSM/MSL results to help us narrow down whether glitches are working or not?

PS - Checking Cobra 12 pack out of interest, no change:
MSM (IE, logged in)
Set as A - A £9, W NA
Set as W - doesn't show
MSM (iPhone Safari)
As above
MSl
Set as A - A £9, W Price Not Available0 -

Thanks for new thread. I'll not be able to catch up tonight so will say hi and bye now and see you all tomorrow
Ps shopping was utterly fab
Hi and bye:rotfl::rotfl::).0 -
Hello - shiny new thread - thanks Locarr :T
Off to catch up - but managed to catch some hissers at last when I went to pick my niece up. Extra £1 from the pumpkins helped too. We are off to see my dad tomorrow so she is staying over tonight.
DS wanted to see Die Hard 2 and (sorry Bruce) I fell asleep again. So off to explore the new thread and catch up from this afternoon.0 -

Seemed to only be the big stores down my way.
It is annoying that there is no rhyme nor reason about what products A stores hold - it is not purely to do with size having been to 4 extra large stores and only 1 having snakes and Fajita Chicken (the same one as it happens) and two even larger stores having neither (and no room for them on their current layout.
Quite odd - you would expect the biggest stores would have a fairly standard range (apart from when oos)?
