IBS .... Just what CAN you eat?

Remember IBS is a very individual thing, what is a bad food for one might be fine for another... unfortunately the best way to find out is usually trial and error!
A very valid point, I suffered for years and thought it was all down to foods, however got a great book off Amazon that talks about the different triggers and different treatments. I am much much better now that I know how to deal with my triggers and can eat things that previously have a very quick and adverse affect
Some interesting reviews on it http://www.amazon.co.uk/Irritable-Bowel-Solutions-essential-treatments/dp/0091917069/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top0 -
I also find with my GI issues (no evidence of IBD but symptoms too severe for IBS) that what is fine once may change; had mash potatoes for example twice in the last 10 days with no problems, but i'd been off them for about 6 months after consistently awful stomach pains after eating them. I only had them the first time because I left the spuds on too long and they were too mushy to serve boiled
:rotfl:
(Potatoes are one of the things I have to be cautious with).0
