Just got our yearly statement...

Hiya, I don't keep a diary but I read yours, just wanted to come on and show off this year's statement.

Last year £35,224
This year £23,718

Whoop! We could reduce our payments by half and revert to the original 9 years left but NO THANKS!

Keep at it everyone, seeing this statement has so made the lack of new car/holiday/new kitchen floor worthwhile! They'll come in time.:T

  • Well done.:T I can't wait to have a balance like yours.

Ours was £85,404 in October 2012 and is now £70,200.

  • Thanks guys. Hey RevolvingDoor, I dug out some statements, we owed around £80k in 2006 when we moved and the last few years have flown by and now I can't quite believe the figure we're at. Keep at it!
