Emma Bridgewater mug offer with milk at Waitrose
Options
Just wondering if this is worth the efffort? Is Emma Bridgewater crockery that good? I have been merrily collecting the vouchers off the milk containers and have just read in the small print that you have to send £5 to cover delivery for each mug, not for the whole parcel. Does anyone own any Emma Bridgewater items? Is £20 a good deal for 4 mugs? The mug seems Waitrose themed, which now seems less desirable at this price!!

My DD1 loves Emma Bridgewater and the mugs (assuming they're full half pint size) sell for about £20 each which makes it a good deal. I suppose it depends on whether you like the Waitrose design.0

Thanks Maman. Yes, they are the half pint mugs and apparently a 'limited edition'. Guess I should get them in case they become a collectors' item!0

I think I'd buy them as you've got the tokens anyway. £5 each for nice mugs isn't too expensive.0 -
I have had this pottery for years. No chips and dishwashed each day baked in oven. Wonderful stuff. You will not regret buying them.0

I would buy them, unfortunately I don't have a Waitrose store close to me .......0 -
I love Emma Bridgewater stuff and have half a dozen of this type of mug - mostly birds. She's a great designer. BUT I suspect these will be smaller than you anticipate. Pour half a pint of water into one of your regular mugs and see how much space is left - that won't happen with these, they'll be full right to the top. Fine for me as I don't like big mugs, I'm a cup woman really, so that's why I particularly like this size.0

They are lovely but imho is a mug ever worth spending 5 pounds on? Are we just paying for the name? There are so many mugs out there that look so lovely and are much much cheaper for instance have you looked in home bargains. I have bought loads from there for christmas and they are really lovely having said that if you collect EB then this would be a bargain .xXx-Sukysue-xXx0

I just managed to collect enough tokens for 1 mug, as I don't have a local Waitrose. I didn't receive an email with the code when making the payment but did take a screen shot. I haven't received the mug or any confirmation, so rang the number provided and was told that my tokens have been received and the mug will be despatched today or tomorrow.0

We own a few EB mugs and they are a bit more expensive but they are much more hard wearing than the others which have all since chipped and broked0
