www.cooltoad.com is good ull just need to register for free but have a good pop up blocker handy as the pop ups are unavoidable

For female artists try: www.bunchofbettys.blogspot.com where you can download podcasts and discover new music. On this page (near top on right hand side) there is a link to her MP3 page were you can download more tracks individually.

Also: http://www.npr.org/programs/asc/ this is 'All Songs Considered' an American radio show I think. they have loads of free downloads of live concert from a variety of musicians/bands. Check out Bjork and Martha Wainwright!!!

Its completely legal, a lil birdy informs me that the US goverment are cracking down on it, so i would advise removing it from your computer, a good one to use is SoulseekThe Pmiester
