Just we are both young, and would like more holidays etc etc. live life, rather than waste it on interest.
Then forget the holidays for a while. Overpaying the mortgage whilst saving interest at 6% will allow you annual holidays in the Caribbean before you know it.
Chances are you will live to a ripe old age. So don't have regrets by partying too much now. When you're older you'll have far more time to travel.
