Currys sale -any good?

Hi all,

There is a sale on at currys.

I'm after this 50 inch TV

Shall I buy now or wait until Christmas?

It looks like it an exclusive model to currys so can't really compare the price to anywhere else. I could find it £100 cheaper but it was at 123av.com but it's graded stock (pre-owned, ex-display, reconditioned etc.)

Currys are known for having some really good offers on TVs around christmas time but this model may not be on offer then so you may end up missing out if this is the one you want.

The christmas offers tend to be the same price for the TV but with other stuff thrown in free, like a home theatre kit or sound bar or blu-ray player. If you wanted something like that it's worth waiting but if you just want the TV then it probably won't be much cheaper in a few weeks.

Go to John Lewis or Richer Sounds, at least you'd get a 5 year warranty there.
