CSA bank account request

Having dealt with the CSA over many years and built up a feeling of great mistrust they are now requesting my bank details, saying "we need you to supply us with your bank account details as an over payment has occurred on your case. Please note we are currently compiling an account breakdown and this will be issued to you on completion.
The question is once they have these details what access will they have?

Giving them bank details for an overpayment is the easiest and quickest way of getting your money back. All they'll do is use your account number and sort code to send the payment back to you. You've not authorised them to set up payments or anything, so they can't really do anything else with them.

Pretty much what prelude said, we wont use this info for anything other than the overpayment.
