Samsungs are good quality. The picture on them is very, very good.

I think any lcd would last years without getting dead pixels. I had a 23" lcd when they first came out and that was going strong when I sold my house last year. I must have had that 4 or 5 years.

I've got a monitor for my computer I still use and I've had that for 5 years +
