I think I won something but...

I was just entering a couple of the magazine dailies (Woman's Weekly), when it came up with 'Congratulations!'... just as my laptop crashed and the screen went black :eek: After a reboot, I got back onto the site and it says absolutely nothing in my account about me winning anything, nor have I had an email.

So, has anyone else had an instant win on a magazine daily? What happens? Should I have clicked on something to claim it, or will they contact me?

It could only happen to me. Sigh...

Oh no, what great timing. I should contact them, explain and just check with them. My instinct says that if it got to the congratulations stage, that it should, hopefully, have recorded your win. When you went back to the page, it doesn't surprise me that it didn't show it though. Fingers crossed for you and do let us know huh?

I did go back to the page but it just said 'error, you have already entered this competition' (or words to that effect). I'll leave it a short while and then try emailing them if nothing comes through.

Was it definitely an instant win comp rather than one of the prize draw daily ones posted on here?

Many of the daily ones show a 'congratulations, you have successfully entered' page, which doesn't mean you've won

I was just thinking this, the daily draws come up with a box saying congratulations you've entered to win, perhaps this was the case here? If it had been an instant win i'm sure you'd have got an email to confirm

It might be worth trying to find the page in your history if not deleted.

Was it an Instant or a Prize draw daily?

I've won on the Woman's Weekly prize draws before, and they've never e-mailed me to tell me I'd won, the prize just turned up.

You know, I think some of you may be right. I entered more comps on the same site today and one of them came up with a 'congratulations, you have successfully entered' message, so that's probably what it was. Ah well, I live in hope!
