Just such a shame that people without family can't have the generosity of a friend ( who is just like family) to help them; not everyone is lucky enough to have a family.0 -
I can appreciate what you're saying but you can see why lenders don't accept that (in the majority of cases) a friend would gift (never mind borrowing to do so) a mortgage deposit for their pal.
Of course, bottom it out with the lender before you start incurring any legal or mge fees - but from my experience I don't hold much hope given the details.
