I have to disagree with you on terminal bonuses I'm afraid. Following the stockmarket crash, much of the TB would have been removed. However, they have been going up this year and providers have indicated that TBs are going to be where the bulk of their future increases are going to be.

Pru and NU are two examples where the TB is higher this year than last year. Unitised with profits plans are where you will see this kick in first with conventional with profits lagging in behind.

I am now going to seek independent financial advice and sort this problem out NOW. We've got other endowment policies which will need to be taken into consideration. Thank you for making me realise (which I had felt in my heart) that hubbie and I need to act now. Can't rely on my 3 bambinos looking after us now can we !!! Again - very many thanks to you both
