Rafflecopter Comps

I am sure some of the Mammy Bloggers will be compers on here too, so I thought I would ask a question or two aimed towards those ladies (or anyone else that can help.)
As someone said a day or two ago the Rafflecopter comps have totally taken over the dailies, but 90% of them the first madatory thing is to answer a question, so that's it I personally close the comp and move onto the next....now don't get me wrong I probably spend more time on these blogs than the actual Mammy Bloggers do, something catches my eye I click a link that leads to another link that leads to another link (I would get 10x more comps done if I wasn't so nosey :rotfl:)
I click the odd share on FB, (I am careful about that as I got a ban like many others did) I tweet, I follow on FB and Twitter ect, but I don't blog, it is just not for me, although I respect those who do :T
What I am saying is why do you make it mandatory to add a comment, I don't mind getting one less entry for not blogging but by making the first item on the comp mandatory that means I can't share on FB or Tweet ect for that blogger.
I don't mind having one less entry for not being on Pinterest/Bloglovin/Instagram/following your blog ect, (there is not enough hours in the day!!) but at least a couple of entries for tweeting and following you on FB is better than nothing, and also getting the blogger a bit of advertising?
So please make adding a blog an option and not mandatory to enter your competition

I move on if I find it's mandatory to add a comment too. I don't bother with many of the blogs anyway because I find them excruciatingly slow to load.0

I do answer the question because the questions are very easy quick ones to answer or are linked to the company giving away the prize, like click on the website & tell me what you would buy which is fair enough as they have donated the prize they might as well get their foot fall up at the same time
But I have a lot more time in the day to enter them than most people, so can understand people not doing it

Imo to make the first option to add a comment gives the blogger more klout.
To have likes and tweets is nice but comments on your blog for want of a better term 'makes you popular' and therefore gives you more klout with bigger brands and therefore higher value / quality giveaways for compers
That's how I see it, but I may be wrong so like I said, just my opinion

By clicking FB/Twitter ect you are giving the company advertising, that is basically all they want from us for them offering us a prize, so why do they need us to comment?
I also find it hard deciding what I am going to blog through you are given a load of options and I don't have most of them!!

I'm a mummy blogger and have run Rafflecopter comps myself. MclarenGurl is right in saying that it's good for the blogger to get more comments. My blog statistics are much better when I get lots of comments on posts, and this in turn would mean that I got more companies/PR agencies wanting to run a competition with me, so it does benefit everyone.
In saying that I hate 'difficult' comments so if I ever run a comp I just ask an easy question.:AThanks to all those who post comps:A0 -
Oh that's another one "Klout" I had never even of that until I started comping
Although I often got a Klout around the earhole offa my Nana when I was younger :rotfl:“I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints.” - Billy Joel

This is why I run my rafflecoptor blog competitions so that all options are optional. All the entry methods are already unlocked so people can enter as many or as little as they want.
I know that some people are put off by having to post a mandatory blog comment before they can unlock the rest of the entries (I know that I usually am!) which is why I make all entry methods an option and not an obligation.2019 Wins

I totally understand what you are saying Joanne, but many others will comment to get that extra entry into your competiton, myself I will close your blog and leave, would it not benefit the Mammy Blogger to give us the option?
You would still get advertising from me by me Tweeting your comp ect but I would have one less entry for not blogging
Why does the comment part have to be mandatory?“I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints.” - Billy Joel

Exactly make all entries optional :T
If I miss out on a few options that is my problem, but at least I have one or two entries into the competition and at least have a chance to win“I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints.” - Billy Joel

I would say raffle go away and make comps if you have them real allow peeps to enter instead of you have it have this allow and the next thing we do not always allow peeps onblogs etc. or have blogs0
