LTV question

Hi all, a question question:
I currently have a LTV of 77% and was wondering if I should find the funds to get 75%. Do I need to get exactly 75.00% to get the LTV of 75% or would it be possible to get a LTV of 75% with a deposit that amounted to 75.99%?
Thanks!
Xael.

Depends on building society, but I know with Nationwide you need to be 75.00% or under to get the 75% LTV.0

Offer less for the property to achieve a better LTV.0

The impact of the different rates you'll be offered at LTV77% and 75% will depend on the amount you are borrowing. However I was looking at the difference between 78% and 75% for myself last night and found that we'd pay an extra £7k in interest over the five year fixed period and I don't fancy losing that kind of money unnecessarily. Therefore I will add enough to the deposit to make it a LTV75% and have less to spend on the new house for a bit.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0
