    Thanks again everyone.

    Going to re-visit the numbers regarding 25 vs 35 years, and also have another think about child costs. The £** was including some childcare but also factoring in that my parents would like to help out (although I wouldn't rely on this).

    I'm glad though that it doesn't seem unreasonable, it's just trying to plan for the unexpected as far as possible, and then make the plunge.
